Crunchyroll to Stream English Dub of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc Starting June 30

Crunchyroll has exciting news for Demon Slayer fans! On Tuesday, it was announced that the streaming service will begin airing the English dub of the highly anticipated "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc" anime on June 30 at 4:30 p.m. EDT.

The anime initially premiered on the Fuji TV channel and its affiliates with a one-hour special on May 12. Recently, the seventh episode, which runs for 40 minutes, aired on Fuji TV on Sunday. The upcoming eighth episode, a 60-minute special, is set to air on June 30. To celebrate the finale, a "Hashira Training Arc Climax Special Screening" will be held on the same day at TOHO CINEMAS in Shinjuku, featuring a talk event after the screening.

"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training-" is a theatrical screening that includes the one-hour first episode of the Hashira Training Arc and the final episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc. This screening premiered in Japanese theaters on February 2 and subsequently toured several countries worldwide.

The "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc" anime premiered on April 9, 2023, with a one-hour special and continued for 11 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired.

The journey of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" began in April 2019 when the first television anime of Koyoharu Gotouge's manga premiered. Aniplex of America licensed the series and made it available on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. The series also aired on Adult Swim's Toonami programming block starting in October 2019.

In October 2020, "Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train" began screening in Japan, with Crunchyroll streaming the film. The "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc," a seven-episode adaptation of the movie, premiered in October 2021. This was followed by the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc," which premiered in December 2021 with a one-hour special. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed these arcs, further cementing the series' global popularity.

With the upcoming English dub release of the Hashira Training Arc, fans can look forward to experiencing the intense and emotional journey of Tanjiro and his friends in their training to become Hashira, the elite Demon Slayer Corps members.
