Exciting Crossover: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Meet Naruto

In an exhilarating collaboration, IDW Publishing and Viz Media are joining forces to release a four-issue comic series that brings together the worlds of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and Naruto. This unexpected but thrilling crossover has fans buzzing with anticipation.

The series will be penned by Caleb Goellner, known for his work on "Sonic the Hedgehog," and will feature artwork by Hendry Prasetya, who has previously worked on "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." The vibrant colors will be brought to life by Raúl Angulo, while Ed Dukeshire will handle the lettering. Cover art for the first issue, set to release on November 13, is a collaborative effort by Jorge Jiménez and Prasetya.

The storyline promises an epic ninja showdown that fans could only dream of. It begins with teenage reporter April O'Neil having a secretive meeting with Tsunade, the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village. This meeting catches the attention of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi. However, they're not the only ones interested. The nefarious Foot Clan believes April possesses valuable information regarding mutation research conducted by scientist Baxter Stockman. With April entangled in a web of intrigue involving both the Hidden Leaf Village and the Foot Clan, it's only a matter of time before the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles leap into action to assist her.

This crossover marks a significant moment for both franchises, which have a history of previous merchandise collaborations through the Box Lunch retail chain.

Masashi Kishimoto launched the Naruto manga in 1999 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, concluding it in November 2014. The series has since expanded into television anime series "Naruto" and "Naruto Shippūden," along with OVAs, anime films, spin-off manga, the Boruto sequel series, novels, stage plays, and video games.

With such rich histories, the merging of TMNT and Naruto is sure to create a captivating narrative, blending the unique elements of both worlds into a must-read comic series. Fans of both franchises are eagerly awaiting this dynamic and unprecedented collaboration.
