One Piece’s Egghead Arc Returns as Crunchyroll Gears Up for New Episodes

One Piece fans have something to look forward to as Crunchyroll is set to release the highly anticipated continuation of the Egghead arc. During the weekend of April 5-6, the streaming platform will drop the first two episodes of Part 2 in select regions, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Latin America. The 1,123rd episode is scheduled for April 5, followed by the 1,124th episode on April 6. Additionally, Crunchyroll will offer an 83-minute recap special covering Part 1 of the Egghead arc, giving fans a chance to relive key moments before diving into new episodes.

The One Piece anime initially paused the Egghead arc in mid-October 2024, citing the need to "recharge" before resuming in April 2025. During this break, the series aired One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga, a reimagined version of the Fish-Man Island arc featuring enhanced visuals and refined animation. Upon its return, One Piece will move to a different timeslot, making way for To Be Hero X, which will take over its current Sunday 9:30 a.m. JST slot.

As the series continues to evolve, fans will also notice a major casting change—Subaru Kimura will take over as the voice of Franky. With the Egghead arc initially premiering in January 2024, excitement remains high as the adventure presses forward in one of anime’s most enduring sagas. Having first aired in 1999, One Piece shows no signs of slowing down, keeping its vast fanbase eagerly awaiting the next big reveal.
