While the curtain may have fallen on Deku’s journey, Studio Bones isn’t finished exploring the world of My Hero Academia. At this year’s Jump Festa, fans were treated to an exciting announcement: My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, the popular manga spinoff, will receive its own anime adaptation, premiering in April 2025.

Written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court, Vigilantes takes place five years before the events of the original series and introduces a new protagonist, Koichi Haimawari. A college student with the ability to move across any flat surface, Koichi isn’t a licensed Hero, but that doesn’t stop him from lending a hand to those in need.
