Lewis Hamilton and Richard Mille Unveil a New Chapter in High-End Horology

This season, Lewis Hamilton isn’t just making waves with Ferrari’s latest F1 machine—he’s also elevating his wrist game with some of the most audacious timepieces Richard Mille has ever produced. The seven-time world champion has long been synonymous with high-performance engineering, and his latest lineup of watches proves he’s taking that reputation beyond the racetrack.

Richard Mille is kicking off 2025 with the release of the RM 43-01 Ferrari Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph, following the groundbreaking success of its ultra-thin RM UP-01 collaboration with Ferrari. The new model marks a return to a more traditional case design, available in two variations—one featuring a titanium construction with a Carbon TPT mid-case and another crafted entirely from Carbon TPT. Both editions house a complex tourbillon movement and an intricate split-seconds chronograph, reinforcing Richard Mille’s reputation for pushing the limits of watchmaking.

With only 75 pieces available in each variant, this exclusive release draws heavy design influence from Ferrari’s most elite machines, including the SF90, Daytona SP3, and 488 Challenge Evo. Even the Ferrari emblem positioned at 7 o’clock is a tribute to the iconic 499P Le Mans Hypercar.

For those familiar with Richard Mille’s extreme chronographs, the RM 43-01 is yet another masterpiece crafted with cutting-edge materials and racing-inspired mechanics. The titanium model starts at a cool $1.3 million, while the Carbon TPT version pushes the price up to $1.5 million.

Hamilton is no stranger to luxury timepieces, having amassed an enviable collection ranging from IWC and Rolex to numerous Richard Mille models. Each watch in his arsenal seems to mark a defining era in his career, and this latest addition is no exception. As Richard Mille, Ferrari, and Hamilton continue this thrilling partnership, one can only anticipate what the future holds for this fusion of speed, innovation, and horological excellence.
