When Louis Vuitton Men's Artistic Director Virgil Abloh was in charge of designing the brand's menswear, it was only natural that he would collaborate with sportswear companies like Nike and Adidas. The late designer astonished the world when he presented his coveted Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 by Virgil Abloh, a collaboration with the late designer's Off-White label. The French company has recently offered us a behind-the-scenes peek at how the shoes were created, and the line is expected to increase.
Sotheby's collaborated with the high-fashion company earlier this year to produce its initial hue, which will be followed by nine more this June. In the capsule, two mid-cuts and seven low-tops would be offered for purchase. In honor of ABlog's rainbow concept, the collection has two-tone patterns in white and black suede Monogram. As a homage to his initial collection, a shiny gold installment is also in the works, and artist Ghusto Leone has produced a graffiti-themed mishmash makeup and Damier edition to finish off the collection.
