Honor and Porsche Design Unite for the Innovative Magic7 RSR Smartphone
Honor and Porsche Design have teamed up once again to unveil their latest masterpiece, the Magic7 RSR smartphone, set to debut in early 2025. This cutting-edge device is an ultra-premium adaptation of Honor’s flagship Magic7 Pro, marking the third collaboration between the brands following successes like the Magic V2 RSR.
As expected, the Magic7 RSR is steeped in Porsche’s iconic design philosophy, with every detail reflecting the luxury carmaker’s RennSport Rennwagen (RSR) ethos. From the hexagonal camera module inspired by high-performance automotive components to its aerodynamic build reminiscent of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, the phone combines sleek aesthetics with functionality. The arrangement of its three rear cameras mimics the symmetry of sports car headlights, underscoring the partnership’s meticulous attention to design.
At its core, the Magic7 RSR is driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite Mobile Platform, ensuring top-tier performance for AI-powered applications. Preloaded with Honor’s MagicOS 9.0, it introduces the “Magic Portal,” a hub for seamless access to AI capabilities. The device also integrates Google’s Gemini assistant, further expanding its intelligent functionality.
Photography takes center stage with a triple-camera system, featuring a 50MP Super Dynamic Falcon main lens, a groundbreaking 200MP telephoto lens with an f/1.88 aperture, and a 50MP wide-angle lens. Advanced AI tools like AI Enhanced Portrait and AI Super Zoom elevate the photography experience, rivaling professional-grade results.
The Magic7 RSR boasts a 6.8-inch display with eye-care technologies and delivers immersive audio through its HONOR Surround Subwoofer system. Available in Porsche’s iconic Agate Grey and a vibrant Provence Purple, this innovative smartphone promises to be a showstopper when it launches in 2025.
