New capabilities have been added to Linktree's service that allow NFT creators to advertise their products and "build a community around ownership." In the words of the company, this new launch will provide artists more ways to monetize their work and establish a digital identity.

The OpenSea NFT marketplace collaborated on the creation of these new features. Users may now display their NFTs on their Linktree thanks to the company's new "NFT Gallery" link capability. To verify ownership of an OpenSea collection, creators can link their Metamask wallets and put the URL of the collection in their preview.

Linktree users can additionally display up to six NFTs from their Metamask wallets. The user may then go to OpenSea to see and purchase the NFTs that are currently available. It's also providing an NFT lock mechanism that will allow developers to protect their links with a smart contract address.

In order to access the connection, users must sync their crypto wallets to demonstrate ownership of a certain collection of NFT tokens. Linktree claims that this feature makes it simpler for producers to generate money.

It's a great moment to be an NFT enthusiast, since many media giants are attempting to incorporate the technology into their platforms. Earlier this week, Spotify stated that it is developing a new feature that would allow musicians' NFTs to be publicly displayed on their individual profiles. Instagram said this week that it will begin testing NFTs with a small group of American users.

Linktree's decision to incorporate NFTs onto its platform is understandable, given these tendencies. The news was prompted by Linktree's acquisition of $110 million in stock in March. Linktree's value has risen to $1.3 billion as a result of the investment.
