Square Enix validates blockchain games for Oasys.
The Final Fantasy video game developer, Square Enix, has joined the Oasys blockchain as a validator.
Therefore, Square Enix will contribute to the security of Oasys' proof-of-stake blockchain network and provide the network with the processing resources it needs to process transactions for Square Enix's players. Oasys claims that their blockchain is environmentally friendly, and Square Enix is one of the network's 21 founding node validators.
Oasys has locations in both Singapore and Japan. This project will see Square Enix and Oasys examining the viability of using user contributions to develop new games on the Oasys blockchain.
When it comes to video game producing, Square Enix is one of the best in the industry.
Square Enix is responsible for a plethora of successful video game franchises. It shut down its Western studios to shift resources toward developing blockchain-based, decentralized games with tokenized currencies. In April of 2022, Square Enix launched their own in-house Blockchain Entertainment Business.
Square Enix is the latest major video game producer to join Oasys' blockchain. Strong institutional support for the blockchain is building, including the likes of; Bandai Namco Research, SEGA, Ubisoft, Netmarble, WeMade, Com2uS, and Yield Guild Games, all of which were early validators. Square Enix's Final Fantasy video game franchise has amassed global sales of over 173 million units.
The business claims that with the cooperation of both conventional and blockchain-native gaming partners, Oasys will continue to improve user experiences and mold the industry's future.
Oasys is creating a platform where users can play and create their own blockchain-based games. It aspires to create a blockchain that provides users with the greatest experience possible, with quick transactions and no gas costs, and a network that is both scalable and powered by the gaming community and triple-A game creators.
