StockRise Joins PiP World: A New Chapter for Virtual Trading

StockRise's lead developer, Dale Berkove, is set to join PiP World’s advisory board, marking a significant milestone for the game. Over the past three and a half years, StockRise has transformed from a grassroots initiative into one of Roblox’s top stock simulation games, boasting seven million visits, 20,000 likes, and an impressive average session time of 10.9 minutes compared to the genre’s 8.2 minutes.

"We’re excited to welcome Dale and the StockRise community into the PiP World ecosystem. Our shared goal is to empower our communities towards financial freedom through informed trading," said PiP World CEO, Saad Bachir Al Naja.

StockRise offers Roblox players a highly realistic paper trading experience, allowing them to trade stocks and cryptocurrencies in a safe, virtual environment. This enables players to hone their skills in risk assessment and trading without real-world consequences, helping them make informed decisions and learn from their mistakes while earning rewards.

"I’m impressed by PiP World’s commitment to quality gameplay and their strategic resources. Joining PiP as an advisor will help elevate StockRise to new heights," Berkove stated.

As part of PiP World’s vision to become the "Duolingo of Crypto," StockRise will join PiP’s suite of social games, including the immersive trading strategy game PiP Trader and the learn-to-earn PiP Academy. This acquisition aligns with PiP World’s goal of creating innovative experiences for future traders who have grown up in virtual worlds.

In the second quarter of 2024, Roblox reported an average of 79.5 million daily active users, a 21% increase year-over-year. This acquisition supports Roblox’s strategy to enhance the creator community's ability to build safer and more engaging experiences.

Verified reviews from StockRise players highlight the game’s educational value and dynamic market system, which requires players to stay informed and adapt their strategies to economic fluctuations. This element keeps the game challenging and relevant, providing a valuable learning tool for finance enthusiasts.

With the worst crash in Japanese stocks since 1987 as a backdrop, the ability to simulate nuanced trades is essential for making gains in volatile markets. PiP World is committed to elevating StockRise’s experience to meet the high standards expected from its future releases.

PiP World is a social gaming and EdTech ecosystem designed to inspire players to achieve financial freedom through a gamified approach. Set to launch in Q4 2024, PiP Trader will challenge players to build a financial empire while navigating unpredictable markets. Featuring unique trader characters and sophisticated Social-Fi mechanics, PiP Trader promises a fresh and challenging experience with every playthrough. PiP raised $10 million in a pre-seed round led by Exinity and has been developing in stealth for three years.
