Bridging Elfkin Worlds: Sola Media to Showcase First Glimpses of 'The Super Elfkins' at Berlin EFM

Sola Media has taken on the role of sales agent for the upcoming CGI animated film, "The Super Elfkins," and is set to showcase the first footage at the European Film Market in Berlin. With a budget of Euros 9 million ($9.7 million), the movie, slated for release in Germany in December 2024 through Tobis Film, serves as a sequel to the widely successful "The Elkfins – Baking a Difference." The previous installment was a global hit, selling to over 200 countries and securing the best feature film accolade at the Giffoni Film Festival.

In "The Super Elfkins," the narrative unfolds as Elfie, the Elfkin girl, encounters a rival technologically advanced Elfkin gang, introducing an exciting twist to her world. As Elfie forms a friendship with Bo, the youngest member of the rival gang, the film explores whether this connection can bridge the longstanding gap between the Elfkin clans that have remained apart for over 250 years.

Sola Media's Managing Director, Solveig Langeland, expressed excitement about the animation feature, emphasizing its enchanting character designs and the anticipation of presenting Elfie and her companion, Bo, to global audiences. Directed by Ute von Münchow-Pohl, known for works like "Rabbit Academy" and the preceding "Elfkins" installment, the film boasts Heiko Henschel as the art director and Juan Jose Bravo as the animation director.

Produced by Akkord Film and co-produced by Arx Anima and SERU Animation, in collaboration with Tobis as a co-producer, "The Super Elfkins" promises to deliver a captivating tale of two Elfkin clans reuniting after centuries of separation, offering audiences a world filled with gadgets, action, and excitement.
