Hulu has released the official trailer and premiere date for its original documentary, "Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told," which explores the legendary annual HBCU Spring Break phenomenon of the '80s and '90s in Atlanta. The documentary is set to make its world premiere at SXSW's film festival and will be available on Hulu from March 21. The film features interviews with politicians, event founders, former partygoers, and prominent hip-hop artists, including Lil Jon, Killer Mike, 21 Savage, Jermaine Dupri, and Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell, who are also among the producers.

Directed and executive produced by P. Frank Williams, "Freaknik" delves into the cultural impact of the iconic event, serving as a music documentary at its core. The film not only explores the party aspect but also addresses the event's darker sides, such as issues related to politics, culture, race, sexuality, and gender. These collectible packages will feature a cast of WcDonald's Crew characters illustrated by Bright. Consumers can scan QR codes on the packaging to access exclusive weekly digital manga launches featuring the adventures of WcDonald's patrons and crew.
