Spiderhead, a new Netflix Original Movie 〰️

One of the most interesting upcoming summer movies on Netflix is Spiderhead, which stars Chris Hemsworth as a pharmaceutical genius who uses a futuristic prison as a place to experiment on inmates

The movie is based on a short story written by George Saunders that was published in The New Yorker in 2010. It was directed by Joseph Kosinski, who is best known for Tron: Legacy, Oblivion. Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett play two prisoners who become friends in the detention center mentioned above. If the first trailer is any indication, the movie will have parts that are funny and parts that are scary. Hemsworth seems especially crazy, to the point where he jokes about how handsome he is.

With new seasons of Love, Death, and Robots and Black Mirror coming out soon, it seems like Netflix has a firm hold on the market for dystopian science fiction.
