Conor McGregor Makes a Hit in New 'Hitman: World of Assassination' DLC

Conor McGregor, known for his formidable presence in all five editions of the EA Sports UFC video game series, is taking on a new challenge in the gaming world. Fans will now encounter "The Notorious" in the latest DLC for Hitman: World of Assassination, where he plays "The Disruptor", an MMA fighter who becomes a target for the game's iconic protagonist, Agent 47.

McGregor's venture into gaming isn't new. In 2016, he made a brief but memorable appearance as Captain Bradley Fillion in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. This time, his role in Hitman is more substantial, as players will have the chance to eliminate "The Disruptor" using the creative methods that have made the Hitman series a fan favorite.

In a playful nod to his reputation, McGregor shared a post stating, "I only see easy targets," enticing players to download the DLC and engage in the game’s hallmark assassination tactics. This new role comes amidst a busy period for McGregor, who had to withdraw from his anticipated return fight at UFC 303. He was also recently seen cornering Sinead Kavanagh at Bellator Champions Series: Dublin, though Kavanagh unfortunately lost to Arlen Blencowe.

While the news of McGregor's video game role may not fully satisfy fans eagerly awaiting his rebooked matchup with Michael Chandler, it offers an exciting diversion. Perhaps fans will find some solace in taking out their frustrations on "The Disruptor" in the immersive world of Hitman.
