Insomniac Games, a subsidiary of Sony, faced a substantial data breach recently. Among the leaked information is an internal presentation revealing Sony's plans to potentially increase game prices from $70 to $80-100. Additionally, they're considering releasing the next Spider-Man game in three parts, each priced at $50.

Despite the $70 standard for AAA games, Sony is looking at breaking the next Spider-Man installment into three parts, comprising the main game and a separate multiplayer, totaling $150.

The leaked data, which totals approximately 1.76 terabytes and primarily pertains to Insomniac's titles, offers a glimpse into Sony's potential future plans for PlayStation as a whole.

Sony reportedly plans to implement the game price increase by 2027 due to projected rising development and production expenses.
