Anime Unveiled: Crunchyroll and DeltaRocket Collaborate on Exclusive Studio Bones Documentary Series

Crunchyroll, the Sony-owned anime streaming platform, has joined forces with French producer DeltaRocket for an exclusive documentary series titled "Bones 25," directed by Jace, the founder of DeltaRocket. The series, shot entirely in Japan, is set to be divided into four parts: 'The History of Bones,' 'Style and Originality,' 'Successful Adaptation,' and 'Metallic Rouge: The Future of Bones.' This collaboration aims to delve into the creation of Studio Bones, a renowned anime production studio, and explore its iconic series, encompassing both manga adaptations and the development of original animated stories.

Featuring insights from over 30 prominent personalities, including Studio Bones President Masahiko Minami, Mob Psycho 100 author One, director Shinichiro Watanabe, Kafka Asagiri, conceptual author of Metallic Rouge Yutaka Izubuchi, and Motonobu Hori, who directed some of the series, the documentary promises an in-depth look into the anime industry's creative process. "Bones 25" aims to unravel the studio's journey and provide anime enthusiasts with an unprecedented behind-the-scenes perspective.

Masahiko Minami, President of Studio Bones, expressed his gratitude for the collaborative effort, emphasizing the studio's mission to create a space for innovative expression, genres, and themes in anime. Crunchyroll's Chief Content Officer, Asa Suehira, acknowledged Studio Bones' contribution to iconic anime and highlighted the documentary as a unique opportunity for fans to gain insights into the creators and studios that bring their favorite series to life.
