Fire Force Gears Up for Its Final Season With a New Trailer and Key Visual
Fans of Fire Force have reason to celebrate as the official website for the anime has released a full promotional video and a key visual for the third and final season. This upcoming installment will conclude the fiery tale of Special Fire Force Company 8, showcasing returning staff alongside new creative additions.
The newly released trailer highlights the series' beloved characters and teases the intense battles ahead. The production team has seen some changes, with Sei Tsuguta taking on script supervision and writing, while Mika Yamamoto joins as the sub-character designer. Other notable additions include Yoshihiro Yoshioka and Mariko Kubo as chief animation directors, Yumi Horikoshi as art director, and Kōji Kodera as CG director. Ryō Ōhashi now serves as VFX supervisor, and Natsuki Takei steps in as compositing director of photography.
The final season is set to premiere in two parts. The first will debut in April 2025, with the second following in January 2026. Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the anime in regions including North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
The Fire Force manga, created by Soul Eater author Atsushi Ohkubo, originally launched in 2015 and concluded in February 2022. Spanning 34 volumes, the series tells the story of Shinra Kusakabe, a young firefighter with extraordinary powers who joins the Fire Force to combat a terrifying phenomenon turning humans into living infernos. The manga inspired two successful anime seasons in 2019 and 2020, both of which aired internationally.
