Netflix has obtained the global streaming rights to "Berserk," "Parasyte," and "Monster."

Netflix has secured non-exclusive streaming rights to a small library of classic anime. According to Variety, the business has recently signed a contract with Nippon TV to broadcast nine episodes and movies from Japan internationally.

Netflix in North America has been streaming anime like Death Note and Hunter X Hunter for quite some time. Due to the success of the first season on Netflix, the Duffer brothers have been granted the green light to produce another anime live-action installment.

Finally, anime enthusiasts will be able to stream more shows like these on services besides Crunchyroll. For better or worse, Crunchyroll has been the dominant participant in the global anime industry since 2020, when Sony purchased the streaming service for over $1.2 billion and began shifting the Funimation collection over.
