Google Pixel 6a promo pictures leak before launch

The Pixel 6a will be on sale on July 28, but you can preorder it a week in advance. With a price tag of $449, you'll only be able to get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in one configuration.

As with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, the first-generation Tensor chip powers everything, so performance should be excellent. An OLED display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution and 60Hz refresh rate will also be included in the phone.

There are two 12-megapixel cameras on the rear of the phone: a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 12-megapixel wide-angle. Batteries that can be charged at 30W can hold 4,410 mAh.

Even though Google revealed the Pixel 6a and Pixel 7 months before they went on sale, we'll have to see if it was a wise move.

This isn't the first time this has happened. We were told about the Pixel 4a with 5G and Pixel 5 months in advance, and now they're finally here? Google also unveiled the Pixel 4a at the same time. This reveals that Google prefers to introduce phones in groupings.

In one respect, it provides a wealth of information to those interested in finding out what's in store for them. You'll be able to budget and plan ahead, and you won't have to buy an old phone just because a new one is out. It's easier to pick what to buy when you know more about what's to come.

The downside is that by the time phones can be purchased, they may already appear dated, thus showing your hand too early might be problematic. We’ll have to wait and see whether this technique succeeds with the Pixel 6a's sales.
