HouseWhisper: The AI Assistant Transforming Real Estate
A trio of seasoned Zillow veterans has come together to launch HouseWhisper, a cutting-edge startup leveraging generative AI to enhance the efficiency of real estate agents. Led by CEO Luis Poggi, former Zillow VP of product and engineering, alongside board member and Zillow co-founder Spencer Rascoff and CTO Alex Kutner, a former Zillow engineering leader, the Seattle-based company aims to streamline administrative burdens that often overwhelm successful agents.
HouseWhisper, which recently emerged from stealth mode, has secured nearly $10 million in funding to propel its mission forward. Poggi highlights that purchasing a home is one of life’s most emotional decisions, with real estate agents playing a crucial role. However, as agents gain success, their workload increases, making it difficult to manage client interactions and administrative tasks.
Designed as a conversational AI, HouseWhisper functions as a 24/7 personal assistant, allowing agents to delegate tasks such as follow-ups, scheduling, and CRM updates simply by calling, texting, or sending voice memos. The AI extracts key details from conversations, helping agents save time and stay organized without the need for a costly human assistant.
With over 4,000 agents nationwide already using the platform during its beta phase, HouseWhisper’s subscription-based model caters to teams of varying sizes. Unlike other AI tools in real estate, its conversational approach sets it apart. The company plans to expand its offerings to serve transaction coordinators, loan officers, and brokerages, further integrating AI solutions into the industry.
HouseWhisper’s success is a testament to the growing demand for AI-driven efficiency in real estate, and with industry veterans at the helm, it’s poised to become an essential tool for agents nationwide.
