According to Forbes, Disney has invested an eye-popping $645 million into the series, making it the most expensive Star Wars endeavor to date. With over $290 million spent on the second season alone, "Andor" surpasses even the budget of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which cost upwards of $400 million.

Season two’s expenses are expected to climb further, as the $290 million figure does not account for the entire production. Filming initially began in November 2022 but faced significant delays due to industry strikes in 2023. Production resumed in January 2024, continuing the ambitious journey of bringing this epic story to life.
