CD Projekt announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be updated on December 14, 2022 for new-gen consoles and PC

It was announced that the next-gen version would feature a number of graphical, performance, and technical enhancements over the original, such as ray tracing support, shorter loading times on consoles, and a wide selection of modifications integrated into the game.

Originally scheduled for release this year, the updated edition of The Witcher 3 was pushed back to the second quarter of 2022. Although the game was originally scheduled for release in March, CD Projekt postponed it again in April and completed production in-house.

New DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be based on the Netflix series. Players who already own the game on PC, Xbox One, or PS4 will receive it as a free update, and it will be sold separately on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
