Logitech will launch a cloud-only portable game console in October
Logitech has joined the high-end portable gaming industry. For $349.99, consumers can access games from Xbox, Nvidia GeForce Now, and Steam via Logitech’s new gaming console, ”G Cloud”.
The Logitech G Cloud gaming handheld features a high-definition touchscreen and has a refresh rate of 60 frames per second, in addition to the standard assortment of joysticks, triggers, and D-pad inputs.
According to Logitech's official product website, this hardware is capable of 1080p @ 60 fps graphics. Xbox has been promoting the collaboration through its various marketing channels to build hype.
There has been a rise in demand for portable gaming systems, and Logitech has responded by releasing the G Cloud. While the Steam Deck's supply chain has yet to keep up with demand, the Switch continues to be 2022's best-selling handheld platform in the United States and Europe. Now that new competition has entered the space, how long can Nintendo keep its crown?
The G Cloud’s release date is set for October 17 2022.
