Players claim Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s online RNG move accuracy is "rigged"

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Battle Stadium mode, where players can face off against online opponents, the RNG seed is apparently suffering from a bug that affects battle outcomes.

This means that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s "random" values, which are used in calculations for move accuracy, are actually fixed.

It's unclear why Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s online mode uses this particular RNG, but Game Freak will hopefully correct it in a future patch soon.

In the first three days of its release ten million copies of the game were sold, making Pokemon Scarlet and Violet the best-selling game on any Nintendo platform.

Despite the game’s extensive technical issues, it has been more or less well-received.
