Netflix's Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Studio Trigger Trailer

CDPR and Studio Trigger collaborated to create the original animation series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Starting in September, Netflix will be the only place to watch. #Edgerunners

The series is a 10-episode drama of a homeless boy in Night Society, a futuristic city that is fascinated with technology and bodily augmentation. His only option is an outlaw known as a cyberpunk known as an edgerunner.

CD PROJEKT RED, the company behind the computer game Cyberpunk 2077, is also behind the television program. 'The Witcher: Ronin' is directed and produced by Rafa Jaki (The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077), with Satoru Homma, Bartosz Sztybor, and Saya Elder serving as Executive Producers and Showrunners, respectively. CD PROJEKT RED has been working on this new series since 2018. The series will be animated by Company Trigger, a well-known Japanese animation studio. They have a vibrant aesthetic that is perfect for bringing the world of cyberpunk to life. It will be directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann), Hiromi Wakabayashi (Kill la Kill), Yoh Yoshinari (Little Witch Academia, BNA: Brand New Animal) and an adapted screenplay by Yoshiki Usa (GRIDMAN UNIVERSE series, Promare) and Akira Yamaoka (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) will write the original music for the film (Silent Hill series).
